Chintamani Addigai - Maragadha Pachai

Drawing inspiration from an old Chettiar Burmese kemp addigai design, this piece features larger kemp stones carefully set with just the right amount of gold, enhancing its elegance. Burmese rubies, buffed up cabochons in "pigeon ruby blood" color, made their way to Tamilnadu when Chettiars traveled to and from Burma, and the Nagarathars created solid neckpieces from them. The Chintamani addigai is a replica of one such vintage design, crafted in #925 silver with a 22ct gold polish.
